The Strong Don’t Yield to Weakness

In youth, we believe we are special, that our truth is the only and absolute truth. We’re convinced the world should bend to our will because we’re not like the others. But reality has a way of testing this belief. It strikes hard, often when we least expect it. And many can’t withstand the blow.

In youth, we believe we are special, that our truth is the only and absolute truth. We’re convinced the world should bend to our will because we’re not like the others. But reality has a way of testing this belief. It strikes hard, often when we least expect it. And many can’t withstand the blow.

What happens next? Those who once despised lies and compromises start to lie. Those who vowed eternal loyalty begin to betray. Bad habits, manipulation, deception — the list goes on. Ambition gives way to apathy, and principles dissolve into a gray fog of concessions.

The soul, once proud and vibrant, begins to itch like an old wound. You glance at your reflection in a murky puddle — and all you feel is disgust. Disappointment becomes your second nature.

And then comes a new way to justify it all — tolerance. You start saying: "Life is complicated," "Everyone has the right to their own opinion," "Good and evil are relative." It’s more convenient this way. But should this be called wisdom?

Real tolerance is when your immunity stops working. Your body ceases to fight viruses, your soul stops fighting vices. You no longer distinguish between what’s good and what’s bad. First, you do this for yourself to justify your own mistakes. Then you impose this ideology on others.

But! There are those who don’t give up. Yes, life is stronger than us. But that doesn’t mean we have to become a miserable shadow, blaming everything on the complexity of the world. Staying principled, staying radical in your pursuit of the better — this isn’t weakness. It’s proof of your inner strength.

The world won’t get easier. But the choice is always yours: sink into the murky puddle of compromises or stand up and keep going, no matter the pain. Don’t become an NPC. There’s a fire inside you. Don’t let it go out.
