Chinese company Xiaomi, renowned for its gadgets and smart technology, has taken a bold step into the world of high speeds and premium cars. Meet the Xiaomi YU7 — the brand's first crossover, capable not only of impressing with its specs but also directly competing with giants like the Ferrari Purosangue.
This crossover isn’t just Xiaomi’s debut in the automotive market; it’s a statement of leadership. With a top speed of 253 km/h, it proves that electric cars can be just as dynamic as traditional sports cars.
The YU7 is a true giant: 4,999 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, 1,600 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. But it’s not just the size that makes it special. The total power ensures the perfect balance of dynamism and stability on any road.
The YU7 is powered by a CATL-manufactured lithium-ion battery. While the exact battery capacity remains undisclosed, experts are confident that its range will be competitive within the luxury crossover segment.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi YU7 clearly takes inspiration from the Ferrari Purosangue. Aggressive lines, a low silhouette, and sporty proportions make it resemble a supercar but in a crossover format. Xiaomi has managed to combine elegance and power, creating a vehicle that looks equally impressive in the city and on the highway.
The premium crossover segment is a battlefield for the strongest. The YU7 will face competition from the Tesla Model X, BMW iX, and, of course, the Ferrari Purosangue. However, its advantage lies in a bold combination of premium design, advanced technology, and the reasonable pricing Xiaomi is known for.
The first YU7 models are expected to hit the market in the summer of 2025. Currently, the model is undergoing final certification stages in China.
