Maya Jama in Ibiza: how Agent Provocateur turns the pool into the main stage of summer

Some campaigns simply showcase swimwear. And then there are the ones that make you want to cancel all your plans, book a flight to Ibiza, and remember that summer isn’t a date on a calendar—it’s a state of mind.

Some campaigns simply showcase swimwear. And then there are the ones that make you want to cancel all your plans, book a flight to Ibiza, and remember that summer isn’t a date on a calendar—it’s a state of mind.

Agent Provocateur’s new swim campaign firmly belongs to the second category. And the leading role in this visual explosion goes to Maya Jama—a woman who has long mastered the art of creating a “presence effect” even within a smartphone frame.

Ibiza as a stage for confidence

The shoot took place in a private villa in Ibiza—a place where white stone, sunlight, and water create an almost cinematic reality. Behind the camera is Claire Rothstein, with creative direction by Sarah Shotton. Together, they have built not just a fashion campaign, but a visual narrative about control, freedom, and embodied confidence.

Maya doesn’t “pose” in the traditional sense. She exists within the frame as if the space belongs to her: pool, terrace, sun loungers, morning light. The key idea of the campaign is not the body, but the state.

The swimsuit as a statement, not an accessory

In the new Agent Provocateur collection, swimwear becomes a tool of attitude. This is not about “quiet elegance,” but about unapologetic presence. Deep cuts, structured silhouettes, and glossy textures create the feeling that every look is saying: “I’m not here by accident.”

And Maya Jama is the perfect embodiment of that idea. Known for her authenticity, charisma, and refusal to play safe roles, she brings a natural ease to the campaign: nothing forced, just confidence and light.

A new code of summer luxury

These kinds of campaigns are shaping a new luxury aesthetic. It’s no longer about excess or status display, but about control of presence—within the frame, the space, and life itself.

Ibiza is not just a backdrop here. It’s a state where the boundary between “vacation” and “performance” disappears. Water, sun, and architecture amplify a simple message: confidence is more valuable than any jewelry.
