This year, Porsche is celebrating its 75th anniversary, and to mark this milestone, the company has unveiled a unique collection: iconic sports cars transformed into gaming consoles! As part of the celebration of the brand’s return to sports prototype racing and the "24 Hours of Le Mans" marathon, the Porsche Penske Motorsport team has developed special liveries for the Porsche 963 prototype.
Each unique livery will be released in a limited run of just 75 units. The red and white Salzburg livery pays homage to the Porsche 917K, while the Hippie livery nods to the Porsche 917LH—both of which raced in 1970. The Pink Pig livery represents the Porsche 917/20 from 1971, and the iconic Martini colors have been reflected in the Porsche Racing Edition console.
These colors are a nod to the 1978 races, while the white and blue 911 GT1 celebrates the 1998 sports car. The livery from the race cars has been transferred to the Xbox Series X console and wireless controller by Microsoft.
Each livery set will be limited to just 75 units, and they are not available for purchase. Instead, all consoles and controllers will be raffled off through a special website. Residents of the USA, UK, and Germany aged 18 and over can enter the lottery for a chance to win these unique collectible sets. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of automotive history!
