Electric crossovers are no longer just a “green alternative” to gasoline cars – they combine technology, style, and driving pleasure in one vehicle. The new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Electric fits squarely into this category. And yes, it’s ready to impress even the most demanding car enthusiasts.

Production of the new electric vehicle is entrusted to Renault’s plant in Douai, ensuring the highest European build quality. The exterior design remains recognizable: the front features the signature Dynamic Shield concept, while the rear shows elements in the hexagonal style of Hexagonal Stability. The 20-inch wheels are adorned with triangular motifs referencing Mitsubishi’s legendary logo.

Under the hood is a 160 kW electric motor with 300 Nm of torque. But the real star is the 87 kWh battery, which allows up to 600 kilometers of range according to the WLTP cycle. Standard charging supports up to 22 kW, while fast charging reaches 150 kW, letting you recharge almost on the go. Mitsubishi also plans a more affordable version for 2026 with reduced range, bringing the electric crossover closer to a wider audience.

Silver interior elements and the multicolor lighting panel with 48 shades create a “car of the future” effect. The lighting color automatically adjusts to the selected driving mode. The panoramic roof can also change its transparency at the touch of a button.

A 12.3-inch multimedia display dominates the dashboard, and the Harman Kardon audio system transforms sound into five acoustic modes. In other words, every day behind the wheel of this crossover is like attending a concert.

The Eclipse Cross Electric comes equipped with 20 driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, 360-degree cameras, driver fatigue detection, frontal collision prevention, and automatic parking assistance. Even if you’re in a playful mood behind the wheel, the car takes care of your safety.
