LaMelo Ball and PUMA Launch Official "Fast & Furious" Collection: Sneakers Where Motor Heritage Meets Basketball Future

If you’ve ever dreamed of hitting the court in sneakers that smell like gasoline and roar with engines, your moment has arrived. PUMA has officially unveiled its collaboration with Fast & Furious, and these aren’t just sneakers—they’re a time machine into the world of street racing and basketball culture.

The face of the collection is LaMelo Ball, whose iconic models MB.05, LaFrancé RNR, and LaFrancé transform legendary cars from the screen into footwear ready to dominate the court… and beyond.

The collection immediately features two versions of the MB.05, each a direct visual transfer of the franchise’s iconic cars. The first colorway replicates Brian O’Conner’s legendary orange Toyota Supra. Neon yellow and metallic silver details, designed by LaMelo Ball, reference the famous Nuclear Gladiator decal, while the orange sole highlights the silhouette, making the sneaker a true star on the court.

The second MB.05 draws inspiration from Suki and her vibrant Honda S2000. PUMA literally transferred the car’s airbrushed graphics onto the sneaker’s upper: soft pink and white lines, textures, and graphics create an anime-style effect on your feet. Every step feels like a movie scene, and you’ll definitely turn heads.

Moving away from “on-court” models, the LaFrancé RNR is pure American muscle car aggression. Glossy black leather, a chunky sole, and silver accents evoke Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger. Red highlights hint at the iconic “butterflies” on the air intake—the sneaker seems ready to leap off the asphalt straight into city streets. LaFrancé RNR is a lifestyle model that emphasizes power and style, not just court performance.

The final piece in the collection is the motorsport-inspired LaFrancé, dedicated to the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Silver and blue racing stripes replicate the iconic R34 airbrush, blending racing heritage with modern basketball spirit. These sneakers can be worn both on the street and on the court—they showcase your love for speed and style at the same time.

The Fast & Furious x PUMA pack drops on February 12. Two colorways of the MB.05, along with LaFrancé and LaFrancé RNR, will be available on PUMA’s official website and selected retailers. If you’re a fan of street racing and basketball, missing this release is simply not an option.
