Seong Gi-hun has returned to the game in the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Netflix's "Squid Game." At the end of the first season, Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, seemed intent on taking down the organizers behind the deadly games.
In the new season, Gi-hun is back as contestant #456. The game kicks off with "Red Light, Green Light," where he coaches other players on how to win. However, this season, after each game, players can vote to either continue playing or leave the game together and split the accumulated prize money.
“Don’t do this to yourselves,” Gi-hun says as contestants vote to stay. “Just focus on getting out of here.”
The show premieres on Netflix on December 26.
