The German sportswear brand has reissued its legendary model, turning it into high-top sneakers with four wheels.
The adidas Superstar is a true cultural icon, adorning the feet of creatives, artists, and athletes for over 50 years. 75% of professional basketball players wore the low-top versions in the ’70s, hip-hop groups like Run DMC endorsed these sneakers in the ’80s and ’90s, and streetwear fans embraced the model in the 2000s thanks to collaborations with brands like BAPE, UNION LA, NEIGHBORHOOD, and many others.
However, roller skaters were never part of the Superstar team — until now.
Leaked images from House of Heat show adidas' new release: high-top Superstars with full roller-skating wheels. Available in black, metallic silver, and magenta, they retain the classic leather upper, shell toe, and iconic three stripes across the midfoot. Four adidas-branded wheels are attached to the black sole.
adidas has not yet announced an official release date for the adidas Superstar Roller Skates, but they are expected to drop in 2025.
