Researchers: Adult Films Negatively Impact Male Sexual Health

A recent American study has revealed that excessive viewing of adult films may lead to sexual dysfunction in men.

A recent American study has revealed that excessive viewing of adult films may lead to sexual dysfunction in men.

The report emphasizes that men who regularly watch adult films online are more likely to lose interest in intimacy with a real partner.

The study was based on surveys of more than 300 patients at a urology clinic, aged 20 to 40.

About 20% of the men surveyed reported watching adult films 3-5 times a week, and 4% admitted they prefer self-satisfaction while watching such films rather than intimate relationships with a real partner.

Experts express concern over the strong correlation between frequent viewing of adult films and low levels of sexual desire, as well as erectile dysfunction in men.

Joseph Alukal, head of the male reproductive health department at New York University, noted that adult films create unrealistic expectations among young people, leading to decreased libido as real intimacy does not match what is depicted on screen.

However, the study found that the impact of watching adult films on women's sexual lives was minimal.
