If you thought the story of The Beatles had already been told in every documentary and film, think again. The new biographical project “The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event” is set to surprise fans around the world — and the first visuals confirm that this will be an epic cinematic experience.

As part of a localized marketing campaign in their hometown of Liverpool, fans got an exclusive first look at the actors portraying their musical idols. At the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, co-founded by Paul McCartney, special postcards were distributed showcasing the debut of the main cast in their roles as the Fab Four.

The cast is impressive: Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. This approach, with physical visual materials distributed to fans, not only connects viewers to the band’s historical roots but also highlights the scale of the new project.

But the Fab Four are just the beginning. Other well-known actors are also part of the biopic: Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, James Norton as manager Brian Epstein, and Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono. Director Sam Mendes promises that each of the four films will tell the story from the unique perspective of one band member, redefining the musical biopic genre.

All four films are set to release worldwide on April 7, 2028 — and judging by the first postcards, fans can expect a visual and emotional journey that will bring the magic of the Fab Four back to life. From the release of the first visuals to the premiere, there’s very little time left, and every Beatles fan will be able to experience the band’s story like never before.
