If you thought you knew everything about the Marvel Universe, get ready to be shocked. At New York Comic Con 2025, Marvel Studios unveiled the first trailer for its new series Vision Quest, making fans’ hearts race. There’s everything: unexpected returns, new looks for beloved characters, and… people you definitely didn’t expect to see in their usual roles.
Paul Bettany dons the synthoid suit once again. This time, he appears not only as the White Vision from WandaVision but also as an ordinary man. Yes, Marvel has taken a bold step: the synthoid we knew as an almost perfect being is now exploring the world of human emotions and choices.
The trailer shows Vision arriving at a white mansion and meeting the people who brought Tony Stark’s A.I. to life — J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., and E.D.I.T.H. It’s hard to believe, but these programs, which we were used to seeing only as digital assistants, now have human forms.
And that’s not all. James Spader returns as Ultron — this time in a human body. Seeing the villainous A.I. in a “live” form is both strange and thrilling.
The trailer also teased adult Tommy, Wanda and Vision’s son. Fans have long been waiting to see how the child has changed, and Marvel has clearly prepared something interesting.
In addition to Bettany and Spader, the show stars Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Ruaridh Mallick, Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and James D’Arcy. It seems Marvel is serious about making Vision Quest a series that will be talked about beyond just comic book fans.
While the trailer was presented exclusively at NYCC, the global release is expected very soon. Vision Quest will debut on Disney+ in 2026, and it’s definitely one of those projects worth keeping a close eye on.
