Guys, get ready for a real adrenaline rush. A24 has just released the full trailer for “Marty Supreme”, and if you thought table tennis was boring, think again. Timothée Chalamet stars as Marty Mauser, an athlete willing to go through fire and water to chase his dream.

Josh Safdie’s film promises more than just a sports drama—it’s a true story of determination, sacrifice, and a burning passion for the game. Marty is a young player with incredible talent, facing skepticism from family and friends. Everyone tells him to be realistic, but Mauser knows one thing: to reach the top, you have to risk it all.

The trailer shows an intense conversation between Marty and Kay Stone, played by Gwyneth Paltrow. She tries to bring him back to reality, advising him not to build illusions about his career, but Marty is confident—and that confidence makes viewers root for him from the very first seconds.

Alongside Chalamet and Paltrow, the cast includes Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’Zion, Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, and Fran Drescher. The screenplay was written by Safdie himself with Ronald Bronstein, and producers include Eli Bush, Anthony Katagas, and Chalamet.

Marty Mauser’s story is largely inspired by the legendary Marty Reisman, a five-time bronze medalist at the World Table Tennis Championships, who won 22 major titles between 1946 and 2002 and became the oldest player to win an open national racket sport competition in 1997. So this isn’t just fiction—behind the protagonist stands a real legend.

The trailer is only two and a half minutes long, but it already conveys all the intensity: falls, victories, high-stakes matches, and personal drama. The perfect recipe for a male audience that appreciates sports stories, real struggle, and moments when the hero gives everything he’s got.

“Marty Supreme” hits theaters December 25. Grab your popcorn and get ready for an intense but inspiring journey through the world of table tennis, where every match is a battle for a dream, and every victory is a small but well-earned triumph.
